Arminio is a little-known Haendel opera, which originally talks about Arminius, a descendant of Germanic leaders who were taken hostage by the Romans. The story is based on the emotional tear of the main character between loyalty and attachment to tribal identity. Moreover, Arminio falls in love with the daughter of his enemy, and this is just the beginning of the problems that pile up in his path. Love, duty, patriotism and honor are the foundations of the content of the work. Arminio, during the life of the composer, was only released on the premiere, thanks to the production of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe gaining a new release. The long-sought counterattack Max Maximan Cenčić - surrounded by an outstanding ensemble of singers - not only sings the title role but also directs the production. This all contributes to the unqualified success of this realization.
